Dynamic Founder vs Dynamic Freelancer: UAE Setup Guide

Dynamic Founder fits people who want to establish and operate their own registered UAE company. Dynamic Freelancer fits independent professionals who want to provide their own services through our managed work-authorisation and administrative arrangement.

Through Dynamic Founder, we help entrepreneurs establish and operate their own UAE business entity. Through Dynamic Freelancer, we support eligible professionals through a membership that includes applicable work-authorisation administration, invoicing and Freelancer Central. UAE residence sponsorship and administration are included according to the membership selected.

The right route depends on what you want to own, how you plan to work with clients, whether you want employees and how much company administration you want to manage.

The Difference Between Dynamic Founder and Dynamic Freelancer

Through Dynamic Founder, we support mainland company formation and free-zone setups, including RAKEZ, SHAMS, IFZA and Meydan. We can also support licensing, banking, accounting, VAT, Corporate Tax, PRO requirements, HR and payroll.

Through Dynamic Freelancer, we support professionals whose work centres on their own expertise. Our Freelancer Membership is designed for eligible professionals who want to provide approved services without establishing the same type of standalone company.

Our Freelancer Membership with Residence options include UAE residence sponsorship and applicable work-authorisation administration, while Freelancer Central supports client records, invoices and payment-status tracking.

A residence visa supports UAE residency. A freelance work permit supports your authorised professional activity.

What You Own Under Each Route

With Dynamic Founder, you establish a registered business entity.

The legal form, licence, activities, shareholder arrangements and visa capacity depend on the jurisdiction and setup. For mainland businesses, we support structures including LLCs, sole establishments and civil companies. Many activities allow 100% foreign ownership, subject to the activity and relevant approvals.

Our free-zone options also support 100% foreign ownership, with licence packages and visa allocations varying by authority.

With Dynamic Freelancer, you do not establish the same type of member-owned standalone company. You provide your approved services through our managed work-authorisation and invoicing arrangement.

If you want your own registered entity with wider operating potential, Dynamic Founder fits that goal. If your income centres on work you personally deliver, Dynamic Freelancer can support that working model.

Which Route Fits Your Working Style?

Dynamic Freelancer is designed around independent professional service delivery.

We support approved activities across fields such as technology, consulting, training, coaching and creative services. Your approved activity needs to match the services you provide.

This can suit consultants, developers, designers, coaches and other professionals serving several clients.

Dynamic Founder can also suit a solo professional who wants contracts, banking and invoicing to operate through a company they own, or who expects to add employees, shareholders or wider activities later.

How Hiring Differs

A company established through Dynamic Founder can support employees where its licence, registrations and approved workforce allocation support the planned hires.

Our free-zone options include packages with different visa quotas, while mainland companies follow the requirements attached to the entity, activity and relevant authority.

You can review the MOHRE work permit quota requirements for government requirements applying to establishments.

Through Dynamic Freelancer, our arrangement is built around your own professional work. It does not establish a company in your name with an employee allocation for a team you hire.

If employing staff through your own business forms part of your plans, Dynamic Founder is the route to assess.

How Invoicing and Client Relationships Work

With Dynamic Founder, your company contracts and invoices through its licensed activities. We can also support corporate banking, subject to the bank’s own assessment and onboarding requirements.

Through Dynamic Freelancer, you use Freelancer Central to manage clients, service agreements, invoices and payment tracking.

Through Dynamic Freelancer, we support work with individuals, private companies, government entities and international clients. Work across UAE free zones can be subject to access passes, security approvals or project requirements.

Your client relationships should form part of the decision. Some procurement processes are built around contracting with a company entity. Others can engage an authorised independent professional through our managed arrangement.

What Each Route Costs

Through Dynamic Founder, selected free-zone company setups currently start from AED 8,200. Pricing varies by free zone, package and visa allocation.

Setup, Renewal and Exit

For Dynamic Founder, most free-zone setups are quoted at 2–5 working days once required documents are submitted. Visa processing can add around 2–3 weeks. Our mainland guide gives an estimated 7–10 working days to licence.

For Dynamic Freelancer, timing depends on your UAE status, selected membership and government processing. Where UAE residence is included, the process can involve labour approval, immigration checks, medical fitness, biometrics, residence approval and Emirates ID issuance.

We provide membership-renewal support, including administration for applicable work-authorisation and residence-renewal requirements. Our current cancellation guidance gives a processing period of 5–7 working days, subject to government processing.

Through Dynamic Founder, we also support licence renewals, amendments and company liquidation.
